Ten questions, answered honestly · Including the awkward ones

Some questions we can answer, some we cannot, and a few belong with someone qualified. Here is the split.

Orders, delivery and refunds

Anything involving money or parcels sits with BuyGoods and the manufacturer. We answer questions about the product; we have no order system, no way to look up a shipment, and no ability to refund anybody.

How to reach them is printed on your order confirmation and on the checkout page. Have your order number and the date it arrived ready. Since thirty days of use are required inside a sixty-day window, a refund question asked early has far more room in it than one asked at the deadline.

Corrections to this site

If we have answered something wrongly, tell us and we will look at it again. There is one thing we would rather have than anything else: a readable photograph of the Supplement Facts panel from a bottle bought recently. The biggest question on this site currently has "we do not know" as its answer, and that photograph would change it.

Allergen questions belong with the manufacturer

This is one we cannot answer, and it would be irresponsible to try. The panel and the sales page say different things about shellfish, so no published document settles it. Write to the manufacturer, ask for written confirmation, and wait for it before taking anything if your allergy is serious.

Symptoms that need a doctor rather than a supplement

  • A joint that is hot, red or visibly swollen, particularly a single joint with a fever
  • Morning stiffness that lasts longer than an hour
  • Joint pain alongside fever, a rash, or weight loss you cannot explain
  • Pain that wakes you at night, or is present when you are resting
  • Sudden severe pain in one joint, or being unable to put weight on it
  • Joint symptoms in a child

Those patterns suggest something other than ordinary wear — inflammatory arthritis, gout, or an infection in the joint. All are treatable and all get worse while being ignored. Septic arthritis needs seeing to the same day.

Questions about your medicines

Take the bottle or a photograph of the panel to any pharmacy counter and ask them to check it against everything you take, including anything bought over the counter. It is free, it takes a few minutes, and it is the single most useful thing on this website.

Where to Buy, and What to Ask First

Some readers will work through every answer here and decide to try it anyway. That is a reasonable thing to do with clear eyes. The pricing page has the current totals, the figures that contradict each other, and the questions to put to a pharmacist first.
